Natural History Museum at Tring
This museum, once the private Zoological Museum of Lionel Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild, was opened in 1889 and is now part of the Natural History Museum in London. It houses one of the most impressive collections of stuffed animals in the United Kingdom, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. The exhibitions are divided into six galleries showcasing different species and groups of animals. Particularly noteworthy are the extinct animals on display, such as the Quagga, the Tasmanian Tiger, and the Great Albatross. A highlight is the gallery featuring the "Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year" exhibitions, displaying impressive wildlife photographs.
